DevToolsEnabled has no effect

I am having difficulty getting the DevToolsEnabled to work.
No matter what setting I have it in, I can access the Dev Tools both via the right click menu and the keyboard shortcut.

Am I missing something simple?

Hi,

Just tested it down here and it works for me. If the context menu is enabled, the "inspect" option is removed and F12 disabled.
If the context menu is disabled then F12 is disabled. So pretty much as described.

What version of AntView are you using?
Nowadays it shouldn't matter when you set this property to false as AntView makes sure it is applied at the correct time.
But officially the time to set it would be after the control has been created.

IOW, try setting it from the OnCreateWebViewCompleted event.

It must be related to our environment.
I am using OpenDCL with their ActiveX wrapper, and many of the exposed settings are not holding.
I will reach out to them.

Hi,

There's normally a reply within a day.
No idea on why you would not get a notification, you should get one, but it might end up as spam.
I'm not familiar with OpenDCL beyond the name. So not much help in that respect I'm afraid.

A quick search does show me that there's at least one other OpenDCL developer using the AntView control.
So it should be possible to utilize the control from within OpenDCL.

Hi,

I forgot to mention that even while we don't have any knowledge about OpenDCL, we can still help with diagnosing what's happening and why this isn't working for you.
The AntView control has extensive logging capabilities.

First thing to do is to enable that (assuming you are using AntView 2.0) by following the steps outlined here:
AntView logging functionality
In this case, set it to LogLevel 2

Then email the log, with an explanation of what you did in OpenDCL, to support@antwise.com

We can take it from there in order to figure out what is happening.
