Vimalin for Windows 2.6.611 update

You can download the update for Vimalin from:

How-to update
First uninstall the old version from the Add/Remove programs or in Windows 10 the Settings -> Apps & Features screen. If you keep defaults you are fine and nothing changes.
Only after the old Vimalin is uninstalled run the installer to update to Vimalin 2.6

Here's the list of changes since version 2.6.578:

General fixes

• Extended guest OS support.
  
• Deleting a VM from the library would leave an empty folder if the VM was running during the backup as the snapshot folder was not correctly removed. This has been fixed.
  
• There's a new preferences panel. For now it only has a button to clean up the database. What this does is remove backup entries from the sqlite database that have been removed and are no longer relevant, followed by a shrink. It makes support bundles a lot smaller if you run this before creating a support bundle.
  
• Exclude .scoreboard files from the VM backup.
  
• VMBackupArchive form - Only show current status line for running VM when that line is selected.
  
• This fixes the issue that if multiple dates have been set in a monthly schedule and one of them is "last day" that most of the time one of the other days will be scheduled where last day in month should have been scheduled.
  

Known Issues

• If you use Windows 11 with vTPM (or normally encrypted) you cannot make backups when the VM is running. See here for more information.
