Not much else to say. Brand new Ubuntu Server VM will not backup while running. No snapshots exist for this VM as it is new. Any ideas?

For being able to say something sensible about what you are seeing I do need to have a look at some logs.

Please email me the support bundle (From the help menu -> "Create support bundle") and also the vmware.log file from the VM that has this problem.
You can send it to support@vimalin.com and I will take a look at the problem you are seeing.
