Welcome to the brand new forum of an equally new product.
Vimalin has been released as a public beta for you to test and play with.
It can be downloaded from:

Please beware that this is a beta.
While the application has been tested internally and works well for backing up your VMs and restoring them, you might ocassionally see unexpected things.
For the known issues I will make another topic and update there with progress once done.
If you want to talk about Vimalin or have questions you are welcome to post those here in the forum.
Alternatively if you are attending VMworld Europe in Barcelona, you can ask me questions there.
Most of the times you can find me in the community / bloggers area.
